RIPSCA Realworld Institute for Philosophy and Society(RIPS)

Realworld Institute for Philosophy and Society(RIPS)was established in May 2023. It is a hub for China-West research and dialogue dedicated to cross-cultural and interdisciplinary studies of the transformations affecting humanity.

• Purpose:The RIPS responds to the challenges from East-West world. It aims to become a world ideological center that can connect different civilizations and cultures. And connect the past with the future, and provide an interdisciplinary road map for the way ahead. In this way we can develop and shape impactful philosophical, scientific, and technological concepts that serve humanity better.

• Academic events：The RIPS conducts seminars, symposia, special lectures and international conferences alongside a host of a number of public events.

• Path：The RIPS encourages and promotes the development and shaping of influential philosophy, science and technology ideas, strengthen communication and understanding, and better serve mankind.

• Focus：Intellectual themes for researchers focus on frontier sciences & technologies and society, cultural exchange and innovation between East and West, and transformation of governance.

• Prospect：The RIPS engages the world-wide most outstanding thinkers to examine, share, and develop ideas to address global challenges. And they respond to the challenges of Eastern and Western cultures and global issues.

Journal of Science,Technology and Humanities（JSTH） is a professional academic journal founded by the Realworld Institute for Philosophy and Society(RIPS). Issues such as innovation strategy, science and technology ethics, science and technology strategic planning, science and technology policy, and their relationship with philosophy and humanism will be debated and collided with the aim of promoting the development of science and technology to better serve human social well-being, health, environmental protection and a better natural existence environment and the humanistic state of mind.
